Lithium changed mobile power. Lighter, longer-lasting, deeper discharge, faster charge — there's a reason it's become the standard for serious mobile builds. But a lithium bank installed wrong is worse than AGM installed right.
Voltara Systems installs lithium battery banks — including LiFePO4 systems — for vans, RVs, semi-trucks, boats, and specialty vehicles in Long Beach, CA. Every bank is sized, wired, and commissioned correctly.
Battery management system programmed to your specific cell chemistry, capacity, and temperature limits — not just left at factory defaults.
Busbars, cables, and fusing sized for your bank's actual output — not what happened to be on the shelf. Undersized wiring on a lithium bank is a genuine fire risk.
Solar, shore power, and alternator inputs all configured to lithium-appropriate charge profiles. One source set wrong degrades the whole bank.
A 200Ah lithium bank isn't automatically the right choice. Your bank needs to be sized to your daily draw, your charging sources, and how long you need to run without a charge input. We calculate that before we order anything.
Oversized banks cost more than you need to spend. Undersized banks leave you short on the days it matters. The math is straightforward — it just has to actually be done.

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is the lithium chemistry we recommend for mobile builds. It's safer, more thermally stable, and has more charge cycles than other lithium variants. It's what most quality lithium batteries in the RV and van market use.
Only if your charge controller supports lithium charging profiles. Many older MPPT and PWM controllers don't. We'll check your existing equipment before integrating — and replace what needs to be replaced rather than hope it works.
LiFePO4 batteries typically deliver 2,000–5,000 charge cycles depending on depth of discharge. For most mobile users, that's 10–15 years of real-world use — significantly longer than AGM at a comparable cost per usable kilowatt-hour.
